GRANT EXPLANATION

  • CCN does not assist pet/owned cats. For low-cost assistance with a sick or injured pet cat, Pets In Need may be able to provide assistance                  (513-761-7387) or visit their website (pincincinnati.org).
  • CCN funding is ordinarily a maximum of $250.00, depending on current funding.
  • Funding is for community members not affiliated with a rescue organization. The funding paid for by CCN will be listed under CCN’s account through our partner vets. Care can be provided for various medical issues, including emergencies during hours.
  • You are NOT eligible for assistance if you are fostering this cat for another rescue organization, or are eligible for assistance with another rescue that you are associated with.
  • If the assistance of a 24-hour emergency hospital (MedVet, Grady, Care Center, etc.) is needed, the care must be under your account. CCN will reimburse directly to that hospital. Please know that your bill will exceed the amount that CCN can contribute. Some emergency hospitals have a community Good Samaritan fund to which you can inquire.
